Vismay Anuual Day 2022-23

The Most awaiting Gala of the year was celebrated January 2023. Vismay-2023 was the 11th Annual Day of Good Shepherd. It was based on theme new seven wonder of the world Vismay 2023 was celebrated with great pomp and show. Began On 20th at sharp 5.45 pm January Friday. The Guests and Officials were welcomed with a warm reception by student band and tiny tots accompanied by a welcome song by Students. Mr. Rajesh Paravoor (Cine Actor) was the Chief guest of the Programme Our administrator Shane Joffy maam Welcomed the dignitaries. Mr. Rajesh Paravoor was the chief guest. The programme was presided by Rev.Fr. Davis Panakkal CMI (Provincial Devamatha Province, Thrissur). Mr. T.S Sinoj (Asst Commissioner of Police), was the Guest of honour Mrs. Seetha Ravindran the Keynote address. Felicitation by Maneesh P.M (main School PTWA President) Jojith. T. Rajan (LKG PTWA President) felicitated the function. Memento was presented to the guest of honour as a token of love by Fr. Pinto Pulikkodan CMI. The Annual Report was presented by our Principal along with Our students Gautam Rajesh, Edrick Roy, Evelin Joffy and Fiona Varghese The staff members who completed their 10 years of service Were awarded mementos. Excellence Performance in Arts and Sports were also awarded. The sports Championship was also awarded to Team Tagore the official programme was ended with Vote of thanks was casted by Mrs Susan John, Kindergarten Co-ordinator followed by Cultural fiesta.

Vismay 2023 left on remarkable memory in the minds of the Viewers.

Chavara Day 2022-23

Our School Celebrated Chavara Day On Jan 3rd 2023. The students from different clauses participated and performed Various activities. We started our programme with a prayer. The programme was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Pinto Pulikkodan CMI. Our beloved Principal Father has given a very informative message about the day. Various colourful programmes like group dance, group song, Speech by our students our teachers performed a wonderful group song and informative skit was also performed by our students. King For the programme more colourful and informative, we conducted a Quiz competition based on St..Kuriakose Elias Chavara our founder. Students also made Chavara quote and stick the quote in the branches of tree. They did it with great fun and enthusiasm.

Feliz Navidad Christmas Celebration 2022-23

Our school celebrated Christmas with great Cheers, joy forgiving and sharing the teacher picked their Christmas friend with children’s as a part of Christmas celebration. As a part of Christmas celebration various entire school wore a festive look with Bell, stars, lights, and a beautiful decorations. A crib also arranged to show the Significance of birth of Jesus Christ As part of Christmas celebration various Competitions for different category like Star decoration, Christmas card making, Candle decoration. On 23/12/22 Christmas Celebration were held in the School open Stage. The Whole School was cheering during welcoming Santa Clause. The Prayer, welcomed the gathering The Programme was inaugurated by Fr Pinto Pulikkodan CMI by lighting the Candle. Shanu ma’am gave the Christmas message. Various programmes were conducted like birth of Jesus Christ, Dance performance. Choir presents a song. Mr Maneesh.P.M PTWA President Feliciated the function. Students and Teachers exchanged their gifts after the programme. The students were given cakes. The boundless joy of celebrating Christmas.

Annual Sports Meet 2022-23

Annual Sports meet was conducted On 11th November. A day was filled with almost thrills, excitement and Cheers. The sports day for Category I was conducted on 26th October. The Official programme was started with prayer. After the Welcome Speech. Presidential address was addressed by our Guest Vyshakh B (station officer, Fire & Rescue station KKM) hoisted the flag Master Aswin T.S. Head boy led the Oath The other programmes. Were Band display, Mays drill and Aerobics. Our Principal  Fr Pinto Pulikkodan CMI presented memento to the Guest. Official programme ended with Vote of thanks. The sports events were started and after each event the result were announced and also distributed medals & Certificates Overall Champion for this year Annual sports meet 2022 was bagged by Tagore was conducted with much enthusiasm. We are thankful to Principal, Our administrator Shanu Joffy and all teachers & non-teaching staff for their support.

Children's Day 2022-23

Children’s day Celebration focus on Children and their enjoyment. The Occasion every year with great, splendor and fiesta at our school. Prior to the celebration a Nehru cap activity was done by classes I to VIII. The Children’s Celebration began with an assembly on 14th November dedicated to the students by their teachers. Rev Fr Pinto Pullikkodan CMI Principal. Administrator Mrs. Shanu Joffy Head boy, Head girl and two students inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. A lucky student was selected by Principal father on the day in the presence of the students. Chachaji addressed the children and shared a few words of wisdom various programme was conducted teachers, power packed dance, song by our teachers. The Celebration winded up with a magic show. The little ones enjoyed their special day. The celebration came to an end with the distribution of sweets in the clauses as a small token of love ore and affection by the school.

Kerala Piravi 2022-23

‘Keralayam 2022′ was celebrated on 1st of November 2022. The importance and significance of this day was reflected through this Celebration. The Malayalam department organised this celebration. The legacy and Culture of our state was exhibited. Several competition was organised from class V to X in 27th October. An exhibition of ancient and antiques was organised. The map of Kerala was made by arranging lamps and lighting it. The official programme was inaugurated by Rev. Fr Pinto Pulikkodan CMI. Various Malayalam poems were visualised on the stage such as ‘Mampazham’ ‘Poothampattu’ all these awesome programmes made this keralayam a memorable one.

Horizon 2022-23

The School exhibition provides a platform for the students to use their scientific knowledge and enhance Creativity in them. Our school exhibition ‘Horizon 2022′ was held on 1st October Saturday. Several exhibits in the portico. The students engaged in doing the puzzles. The official inauguration of “Horizon was conducted in Good Shepherd auditorium Mr. NV. Joshy (Retd head master of St Aloysias higher secondary school, Elthuruth) Rev. Fr Pinto Pulikkodan CMI gave the presidential address. The Chief Guest gave inaugural address. The official inauguration was done in the Portico by the Chief Guest. The students from classes III to X exhibited the exhibition in Science, Social Science and Mathematics and Literacy in both still / Working model. Judges evaluated exhibits from Various Categories and selected first and second position from each Subject. The best one among all the subjects and selected junior scientist. The exhibition was conducted with much enthusiasm. We are thankful to Principal Rev Fr Pinto Pulikkodan CMI and administrator Shanu Ma’am and all teachers, non-teachers and office staff for their relentless support.

Hindi Diwas 2022-23

Hindi Diwas of this academic year was celebrated on 14th September. The programme was conducted in Hindi our respected Principal Father Pinto Pulikkodan CMI delivered the message. Our administrator Shanu Joffy imparted her views on importance of Hindi. The programme began with a Prayer song and various programme were Conducted. A special message was also delivered by HOD and finally a melodious group song. The School band presented National Anthem at the end of the Programme.

Onam & Teachers Day 2022-23

This year we celebrated Onam & Teachers day together in a grand Manner on 2nd September. We decorated School portico & main stage in a traditional way by using tender coconut leaves. We made huge flower rangoli with ‘Thirikkarappan’ lamp etc. Our Respected Principal Father Pinto Pulikkodan CMI inaugurated the programme by lightning the lamp. Mr.Maneesh. P.M & Mr.Jojith T. Rajan (PTWA President main school & Kg) felicitate the gathering. We welcomed Mahabali along with thalapoli and various programmes was conducted. As part of Teacher’s Day Celebration one of the student dress up like S.Radhakrishnan & he delivered a speech. We honoured our teachers with bouquet and Card. Our beloved Principal father gave gift to all teachers. All students and students equally enjoyed the programme. Vadamvali with full of enthusiasm. We have distributed Payasam to all. We thank everyone making the programme a memorable one. The whole programme was a great success with whole hearted support and co-operation.

Talent Fest 2022-23

Talent’s fest – Sargolsavam was conducted on 25/8/22 and 26/5/22 which motivated the students to enhance their talents and their talents. Preliminary Competitions of various events and literacy items were conducted prior to the talent fest. The official inauguration of Talents fest Sargolsavam 2022-23 was conducted in Good Shepherd Open Stage. Two On-Stage events Wise scheduled Chilamboli (main stage for dance events) Sarangi Good Shepherd auditorium for musical events. First day inaugural ceremony started with rangapooja by our students. The grand inauguration was done by Minnal Murali fame Master Vasisht Umesh (child actor) School academic administrator Mrs. Shanu Joffy welcomed the gathering Rev Fr Pinto Pulikkodan CMI. PTWA presided Sri Maneesh P.M gave all wishes to this programme. The event Talent fest was grand success in many aspects. The sincere efforts done by the children, full-fledged support received from the colleagues. All contributed their best for the successful accomplishment of the event.

Independence Day 2022-23

Independence Day was Celebrated On 12th August 2022. The special assembly was conducted. Our Father Principal given keynote address with lots of passion, confidence and patriotic feelings. Father shared the significance of the day. Various programmes was conducted a role play on freedom fighters Tableau, Patriotic song. Our school band show caused their grand performance under the leadership of Our Father Principal and raised the sprint of Independence Day. On August 13, the flag hosting taken place at 08.40 am in Good Shepherd CMI School. Our Fr Principal hosted the tricolour flag. Everyone saluted the national flag as a part of showing respect Father gave motivational and patriotic Speech. The Celebration got finished by giving sweets to all. The program came to an end with National anthem by our School.                        

General Body Meeting 2022-23

The General Body Meeting of Good Shepherd CMI School, Kunnamkulam for the year 2022-23 was held on 23rd July 2022 at Lotus Palace Auditorium, Kunnamkulam. The chief guest Rev.Fr.Francis Kurissery CMI, Councilor of education and Macs Media of Devamatha Province was escorted to the auditorium by the Founder Principal Rev Fr.Jose Kidagan CMI former Principal Rev.Fr.Jose Thanickal CMI, Principal of the school Rev.Fr.Pinto Pulikkodan CMI, along with academic administrator Shanu Joffy and the PTWA executive members. Mrs Shanu Joffy welcomed the gathering. Fr Principal appreciated the gathering for their reluctant hardwork and efforts. The meeting was inaugurated by the chief Guest Rev.Fr.Francis Kurissery CMI. The students of 10th Grade was appreciated by him for their Incredible success in CBSE Board Examination. The newly selected PTWA executive members of both main and KG sections were welcomed with flower. Mr.Maneesh.P.M and Dr.Sree Parvathy were designated as President & Vice President. The Merit Day was also celebrated to acknowledge the students for their academic performance. Neha Anand was the 1st topper with 98%. Abhinav Sam Pulikkotil 96% and Areena Maria Raju 95.4% memento was hand over to all 13 students. Orientation by Mr Sunil D Kuruvilla for Parents. The Presented him a memento. Mrs Susan John KG staff Coordinator proposed vote of thanks then concluded with National Anthem.

Investiture Ceremony 2022-23

The Investiture Ceremony we’re conducted on 24/6/22. The School Cabinet member marched towards the stage along with the school band. Sri Santhosh CD asst Sub Inspector of Police, Kunnamkulam circle was the chief Guest who bit the lamp and inaugurated the function. The elected Head boy and Head Girl and also the House Captains and Vice Captains were conferred with sashes and flags by the Chief Guest. Our Principal Rev Fr Pinto Pulikkodan CMI and Administrator Shane Joffy conferred with badges. The oath taking ceremony was held by Our Principal. The Keynote address was given by the Chief Guest, he inspired and encouraged the students. Our Principal motivated the students with his of advice. A memento was presented to the Chief Guest by our Principal. The Investiture Ceremony concluded with the acceptance Speech by the Head boy and Head Girl. The Ceremony concluded with vote of Thanks and National Anthem which was played by the School band.

Reading Day 2022-23

Reading Day was celebrated June 19th every year as the National Reading Day in honour of Puthuvayil Narayanan Panicker (P.N Panicker). Reading Day was observed on 15th June in the Assembly. Our Principal Fr.Pinto Pulikkodan CMI and administrator Shanu Joffy accompanied the Chief Guest Rev Fr Xavi Puthiri CMI to the dais with School band.

Principal Fr Pinto Pulikkodan CMI delivered the presidential address followed by inaugural address. By Fr Xavi Puthiri CMI and informative talk and an urge to read more grow great heights. He also inaugurated the book which contain the Creative works of our students. The programme concluded with vote of Thanks.

World Environment Day 2022-23

The World Environment Day is observed every year on June 5 to raise awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the Planet Earth. The day June 4 the Day programme started. The School band welcomed the Chief Guest Sri Gheever V.K the forest range officer to the programme. The special assembly with a prayer followed by the lamp lighting by our Chief Guest. Our Principal father Pinto Pulikkodan CMI delivered the presidential address and various programmes was conducted recitation, Speech and a dance programme. Principal Fr Pinto Pulikkodan CMI handed over a memento to the Chief Guest as a token of love and also after the programme Mr Gheevar inaugurated “Nakshathra Vanam” by planting a tree.

Re-opening Day 2022-23

The School re-opened on 1st June 2022. With more overwhelming than ever before. One could observe the mixed feeling of excitement, joy and enthusiasm among the students, parents and teachers students were Welcomed with Sandal pasting & Token of Love. On the first day of school the re-opening day programme started Students began gathering in the meadows Good Shepherd CMI School. The School band welcomes the Guest for the programme. A special assembly which started with a prayer followed by scripture readings. Our administrator Mrs Shanu Joffy welcomed the gathering. The Presidential address was given by Principal Rev. Fr. Pinto Pulikkodan CMI.The function was inaugurated by lamp lighting and Inaugural address was given by (Provincial, CMI Devamatha Province, Thrissur) Rev. Fr. Dr. Davis Panakkal CMI. He also blessed the study materials. A warm welcome was given to the new teacher and students. PTWA President and Vice-President Mr Prabin.C.Benny and Mrs.Tina Justin felicitated the function. Token of Appreciation was given to Band Master Mr.Rajesh.V for equipped our students with amazing musical moments with Band instruments. The teachers of main school presented a melodious song to welcome the students. Sweets were distributed. Class teacher gave necessary instructions.

Yoga Day 2022-23

The International Yoga Day was celebrated in, our school on 21st June 2022. To raise awareness about the benefits of yoga in daily life. This year Yoga celebration was held with great enthusiasm at our school. We had a awareness programme related to yoga on June 10. Mr Gopinath Edakkunny, Vice District Yoga Director and Yoga Association of Thrissur District Yoga Association course Director and yoga Therapist gave us a short class about the benefits of yoga all the students On the day of June 21stspecial assembly was conducted with welcome speech and importance of yoga The Programme Musical yoga made the day more attractive. The whole programme ended with Vote of thanks and National Anthem by school band.
